This fellow was inspired by Wilford Brimley's character in the film Cocoon which I had recently seen again. His big, bristly mustache screamed, "Walrus!" to me. The film involves a group of Florida octogenarians who happen upon a swimming pool filled with extraterrestrial pods that give off a "youthifying" energy. After a few dips in the pool, the old-timers are enjoying the zest of living as if they were in their twenties. Unfortunately, we can't all be so lucky as to have a close encounter of the aquatic kind. Most of us have to stay young at heart the
old-fashioned way: living life with laughter, love, and lightness. |
